Premier Heart Surgery Center expands access to heart and vascular procedures in West Central Florida - with no hospital stay.
Lakeland, Florida – Premier Heart Surgery Center officially celebrated its grand opening on June 18th, marking a major medical milestone as Polk County's first cardiovascular ambulatory surgery center. The ribbon-cutting event, hosted in partnership with the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, welcomed staff, community members and local leaders, including Lakeland City Commissioners Guy LaLonde Jr. and Terry G. Coney.
The new, state-of-the-art facility expands access to advanced heart and vascular care outside of a traditional hospital setting. Their expert cardiology and vascular surgery team performs a variety of advanced operations, such as heart and peripheral catheterizations with stenting, ICD and pacemaker implantations, venous laser ablations, and venograms. Patients are able to have their procedures done in a comfortable environment and return home the very same day.
