Press Release:

Polk County's First Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center Opens

Premier Heart Surgery Center

Premier Heart Surgery Center expands access to heart and vascular procedures in West Central Florida, with no hospital stay.

Lakeland, Florida – Premier Heart and Vascular Center has officially opened Polk County's first cardiovascular ambulatory surgery center: Premier Heart Surgery Center. Their expert cardiology and vascular surgery team performs a variety of advanced operations, such as heart and peripheral catheterizations with stenting, ICD and pacemaker implantations, venous laser ablations, and venograms. Patients are able to have their procedures done in a comfortable state-of-the-art environment and return home the very same day.

“Our highly skilled board-certified physicians are committed to providing care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety while also addressing the individual needs of patients and their families,” said Dr. Chetan Khamare, Interventional Cardiologist at Premier Heart Surgery Center.  “By offering these procedures outside of a hospital setting, we’re able to make care more accessible and cost-effective. We also have a larger number of staff per patient allowing for more time with each individual.”

In partnership with the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, Premier Heart Surgery Center will be holding their ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 18th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the newly opened facility, located at 1470 N. Florida Ave., Ste 120, Lakeland, FL 33805. The event is open to the public and will feature facility tours and an opportunity to meet the clinical team.
